My clients organisation provides residential care for young people who have experienced significant trauma and have Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

This is rewarding career opportunity, which allows you to be directly involved with young people and work as part of a strong team to positively shape their future and make a difference to their lives. You will receive outstanding support and training to develop the skills and positive outlook you must already possess. Successful applicants should already hold an NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Young People or similar. Main Duties: Supporting young people in their daily lives through the framework clearly laid out in their individual behaviour management plan Demonstrating outstanding practice as laid out in the Organisations Policies and Procedures Promoting independence Writing, reviewing and updating where necessary: -Behaviour Management Plans (BMP) -Therapeutic Support Plans (TSP) -Individual Risk Assessments Completing in house daily paperwork for the Service and individual young people Liaising with other professionals to ensure the welfare and safety of all young people Daily report writing Attending fortnightly team meetings Attend any required training Key Skills: Excellent communication and listening skills.
